Tueetor Awarded Merit at the Asia Smart App Awards 2019

Tueetor was honoured with the Certificate of Merit (Public Sector Distinction) at the Asia Smart App Awards 2019, organised by the Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association.

The Asia Smart App (ASA) Awards is designed to recognise the best mobile apps and their developers in Asia. ASA Awards 2019 comprises three award categories: ‘Public Sector Distinction’, ‘Business and Commercial’, and ‘Lifestyle, Social and Entertainment’.

To be considered under the ‘Public Sector Distinction’ category, apps must serve the general public. This refers to all services within or outside the organisation that increase efficiency or improve access to services, communication and information in the public sector. Social enterprises and non-profit organisations that adopt information and communications technology for the common good are also included.

This year, the ‘Public Sector Distinction’ saw a total of nine award winners. Bookloud, an app by Linkross Lab Inc from Taiwan, took home the Gold Award. Tueetor earned the Certificate of Merit and is proud to share the honour with five other companies from Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Myanmar.

Being recognised under the Public Sector Distinction indicates Tueetor’s relevance to society and speaks volumes of the quality and usefulness of our app. This greatly motivates the entire Tueetor team to continue improving our platform for our users.

On 20 June 2019, Ling from our management team and Devi from our tech development team represented Tueetor to receive the award at the ASA Awards Presentation Ceremony in Hong Kong.
